We’ve added a new featured student this week. @tffcapote. Tiff is one of our more active members and she’s always finding some amazing things to share, and usually picking all our brains to learn even more! If you know of a student you’d like us to recognize, send us some information and background on them so we can share with everybody!

Welcome new members. As you can see we are brand new, and many features are being finished up this week. Please register today, invite your theatre friends to join you, and come back soon. This will be so cool when we have hundreds of members all over the US. But somebody has to get it started. Please email us with any problems you have had in registering, uploading photos or videos, or forming a Troupe Page. We are open to suggestions about other features you would like to see. email: BSBT1@backstagebacktalk.org

Well, the Tony Awards is what’s in the news now…so The big question is…WHO IS TONY?? I’ve heard a jillion storys Here’s the bottom line. Tony — actually Toni — was the nickname of a stunningly beautiful but tough-as-nails Denver actress, Antoinette Perry, who later turned successfully to producing and directing in an era when women in the business were usually relegated to acting, costume design or choreography. Learn her story at http://www.tonyawards.com/en_US/archive/perry.html

I love this picture; I know I have seen this done by … oh yes by well, more than one person, shall I say. And look some one like me holding the ladder, paying no attention at all to the person I/he is spotting.

Thanks Margo. It is hard for the kids to see how it CAN work when there are lots of members, so they wait to join till there are lots of members. But we have to find people willing to be the instigators not the followers. Thanks for your support!
